The camera met most of my expectations. I actually purchased it more for the use of the video feature than still pictures. My one disappointment was that the zoom feature does not work for video. I was not aware of that from reading the product description. It is easy to use and the pictures and video look good. A great value for the price. I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a video camera and this works fine for my purposes and I can transfer my family videos to my computer to save on a DVD.
