pretty good
I couldn't believe how fast this came in the mail, I ordered it on a tuesday and got it that friday, This camcorders video is very crisp the pictures aren't that bad either the software that came with is really good I am very happy with it and I will definitly be shopping here again

Good Deal
Overall a pretty good camera, especially for the price. The picture definition is incredible, my only complaint is the annoying little area selection box that I haven't yet figured out how to remove. The video footage is terrific, with the exception that it is very difficult to keep it stable while filming. I haven't tried the software that came with it yet, but HOPEFULLY it will have some kind of image stabilizing software. For what I paid though, I am extremely pleased! Also, it seems at least fairly water resistant. We use our camera mainly to film snowboarding sessions, so it gets sprayed with snow from time to time, with no serious effects thus far.

Not what I expected
For the money this camera is probably ok, but I was expecting more. I didnt use the camera so I cant really speak to image quality, but it had a very cheap plastic feel to it and I just wanted something better. The other reviews look positive, so maybe it was just not for me.

Good digital camera
I got this camera for my husband for Christmas. My husband really likes the camera, especially how easy it is to hold still during video recording because of the pistol grip design. He has already hooked it up to the HGTV and to his computer and the playback quality (video and audio) is really good especially for the price. He also likes that it can switch to capture still images as well. The only complaint is that the buttons can be sort of confusing when it comes to scrolling through the various menus on the camera and the users manual is only in disc format, so you can't quickly open a printed manual to see which button does what. It just takes some getting used to. Overall, we are very pleased with the camera and thought it was a great value, especially since it came with the 8GB SD card.
