The battery life is good, it comes with it's own mini tripod which is useful, the screen is clear and viewable in moderate sunlight, storage is on card and therefore limited only by the cards that you have available and it has a 20X zoom range some of which is digital

"You get what you pay for"I decided to get a 1080p compact SD camcorder after playing with a couple Sony and Canon models. I found this SVP here, and for a GREAT price (paid under $200, shipped with 8GB class 6 SD memory). Upon receiving the camcorder, immediately it felt "cheap" compared to the big names.The function of this camcorder is very simple and easy to use. Simply charge the included Li-ion battery with it's charger, install it to the camcorder, insert your Class 6 or higher SD memory, turn it on and you're ready to point and shoot.The camera mode is adequate; much better than cheap cell phone cams. The camcorder modes work well, and the sharpness is fairly good though you'd have to speak up because the mic doesn't like quiet. Under low light, there are a lot of noise (grainy picture).I plan on using this as my in-car recorder whenever I drive. Maybe even velcro/strap it to my helmet whenever I ride or go carting. It is fairly compact. Should be good, since 8GB gives about 2hrs of record time at 1080p resolution (you can dial it down to 720p and 480p).Bottom Line: If you're looking for an AFFORDABLE (sub-$200) and SIMPLE (limited features and buttons) point-and-shoot 1080p camcorder, this is your camcorder.

Let's face it, just by looking at it, you wouldn't expect much, but don't judge this camera just by how it looks. The quality of the video is excellent, the audio is great as well, and there are so many features to manipulate the footage to make it look how you want it to look. The picture quality is amazing as well. This little guy is easy to carry around and has a lot of potential. The only problem is the fact that the camera blurs a tad bit every now and then when moving around and zooming in or out, since it has to focus. But after a few seconds the video should sharpen and it will be crystal clear.

Image quality: blurring is an issue, dark images, very dim flash.In Video mode Images are very very dim,& grainey. Camera does not keep settings- annoying!positives: pocket size, tri pod, lots of extra's, images look beautiful if you hold very very stil in a well lit area.Great concept however product does not meet the mark.

We received the camcorder very quickly. It is easy to operate and does everything we need it to. it is a big upgrade from a digital camera as far as movie making is concerned! We are pleased with our purchase.

It is a good product. But when I ordered it, I thought the display monitor was covered by leather. However, it was a plastic, just only its pattern looks like leather.

We were looking for an entry level camera and are overall pleased with its quality. The instructions are somewhat vague. We are experiencing compatibility issues with our computer's software and the ability to transfer from camera though instructions say they should work together...Also, wish we were able to stop and start again continuing with the same file instead of starting a new one.
