We bought this for our young daughter to practice film making. She loved it and used it for a year and then it broke. She was hard on it though. She could operate it and download the images herself.
Not very good picture quality and definitely not HD. Don't see how you can record continuously for hours when the battery life is only for minutes. I let the kids have for a toy.

Cons: playback is cluttered with on screen display that can't be removed (no time display, I guess there's
no room for it)
no rewind or fast forward (you can only restart from the beginning)

I bought two of these products for my twin sons, and so far they work great. Kids are very pleased with the performance and ease of use. Picture quality and audio appears to be very good overall. You can hear the buttons being used in the audio such as when zooming etc. This product is a very good value for the price, especially for teens who may not really care about top quality products that you would pay considerably more for. I recommend you use lithium batteries or chargeable for best use.

I do wish it came with better instructions, didn't know it had a light, so first video came out dark. It's a great little camera to carry in your purse.
I'd recommend it to others, as a matter of fact I bought one for our son.
