The quality of video with this camera is unbelievable! I was, and more importantly, my wife where blown away by the picture quality. MUST read the instructions well to figure out all the features. But, it is easy, once you pick up on them. I would recommend this camera to anyone. Program disk that comes with the camera has User Manual and software for down loads and is really easy to use. I am not very tech savy and I was able to use it with out injury to myself or others.

This is by far my best purchase of the year,in terms of quality,price and ease of use. This camcorder/camera has an excellent video quality. I was considering the Kodak Xi8 and thank goodness they were out of stock,that's why I ended up with this. This product has all the features you need for excellent video and you can't beat the price!

Serves it purpose. If you like filiming a lot I would recommend getting a higher capacity memory card. We used for the first time with the birth of our son. Worked perfectly! Small enough to carry around on vacation as well. I would recommend.

We took the camcorder on vacation with us and loved all the special features...being able to shoot both videos and stills. We shot alot of mountain views and the zoom feature was great. My son has already downloaded all the pictures to his facebook page.

i got the T1000 mainly for airshows and concerts. it was shipped to me very fast and i got standard shipping which was great everything came except the 2yr warranty i got with it should be here soon thought. it is very small which i thought would be good for concerts. feels stable and not hard to break. video is good for the price. the sound on the other hand sucks but does well in softer sounds. software that comes with it is not very good and it wont download to any other but that software so that is why i am only give it a 2 out of 5.

Seems to be an OK camera for the price. One thing to remember is that you'll need to purchase a memory card which will cost anywhere from $20 - $80 depending on how much memory you want.

I bought this for my 14 year old who is an aspiring film maker. Works great, easy to use. Captures picture and sound well. Great value. You can't go wrong for the price. I'm ordering another one for my husband.

Since buying this camera I have really enjoyed it. I have never owned a camera before, but this one is so easy to use I have a hard time putting it down. It is a lot of fun, and the picture and video quality is vivid and crisp. I was very skeptical buying a camera but this one has been nothing but a great deal.

This is a cute little camcorder it works good for a second system to carry with you when your just out and about and can catch the unexpected moment. Kid love to use it too. With it beening not as expensive I don't mind letting them use it.

Purchased as a camera to share with my son to use on youtube.com. He says easy to operate with good resolution. I will be trying the camera next week on Spring Break.

This camera takes awesome video. Very crisp and clear. I would highly recommend getting a SD card, there's not a whole lot of memory in the camera itself. Easy to use and super convenient!!

Thia ia a great little camcorder, the pictures are clear and not fuzzy. The video`s are equally clear, though sometimes it is a little difficult to hold it still; The remedy for that is by using a tripod. The only problem I had was the instructions are on a cd and is difficult to understand, once you get thouugh that, you`ll love it. It is a good little camcorder for the price.You may need someone who knows a little about camcorders to go through the instructions with you, to make sure you understand, and are capable of using it without help.

I got my recorder very fast from the seller and really haven't had a chance to use it too much yet. I like the fact that you can take both pictures and video with it and it is fairly simple to operate. I like the fact that it is very compact and you can just stick it in your pocket to take with you.

i am really happy with the quality of this camera. the videos are nice and crisp. the only problem is the menu is a little hard to figure out not allot of buttons to use for menu. but overall i like this product allot!!!!

First my complaints: 1. Auto focus is aggravating when using the macro or when shooting zoomed. If there is anything on another plane it might just choose to focus on that instead. 2. Stabilization is worthless - several tests and comparisons led several of us to agree that the picture is better with stabilization off while zoomed. It actually causes a smooth, slow tripod pan to jerk. Too bad because this was one of the reasons I upgraded from the SVP T718. It's only available in modes less than 1080 HD. 3. Except for the resolution all settings revert to default when camera is turned off. 4. Low light conditions quickly degrade quality to very gritty, grainy images, albeit still quite viewable especially if they are memories rather than your attempt to film an epic. The following comments are more of a comparison with the T718. Viewfinder small. I miss the 'burst' still capture mode. I'd prefer the flash for stills than the LED trying to light video. HOWEVER! Everyone I've shown this to agrees it's amazing what it does for the price. Like me you may lust for the next model up for this feature or that but having resigned myself to the realities of my budget I'm very happy with it. The quality on my parents' 42" screen is beautiful. We've come a long way from 8mm movies! The battery seems to last and last, the included 8GB SD card is hard to fill up and the camera charges from the USB connection so you can charge it in your car with "one of those" adapters. It's a great camcorder and a less great still camera so decide which you're really buying.
