not too cool
Hummm first manual is about useless. I did figure out how to use the scanner. Display is too small. Difficult to tell if slide is flipped backwards. You can edit later if they are flipped but would be better with larger display to prevent problems to start. Pix are good after overcoming the above problems, I would go for a scanner with larger display to start. Pretty good after figureing out operation with useless manual and editing pix after getting some flipped (sideways) If you have the time to OVERCOME these minuses, go for it.

Slide Converter
I does what I want it to do. The slide tray is hard to open and I would like to buy extras so I can have three or four loaded to scan in. Well worth the money

glad i bought
i had hundreds of old negatives from photography class in college. this machine is easy to use and works great for what i needed it for. the only thing is, sometimes it freezes up, but all i did was turn it off and back on and it worked fine again.
