I bought this camera, thinking it looked cool and easy to use.not so much. it is very large and bulky, and made of plastic.it has buttons on all four sides. which, some people may find useful, but i found very confusing.the actual button you press to take a picture or record with, is very small and hard to find.not exactly what you want if you just want to snap a quick picture of you and friends.maybe i got the wrong kind of camera, and i was just looking for something very different than this.but i am pretty unimpressed and im going to return it asap and get a different camera.consider yourself warned.

For what I paid for this camera it does so much. However, the manual needs to be rewritten to show more details with how the functions work. I love it. This is my first camera and I take it everywhere.

It's hard to believe that this cam that does so much so well remains under wraps....SVP is not a houshold name but whats inside of this model (HDDV 3001) is a PANASONIC CCD Sensor!!!This cam excels in low lighting..Videos and stills are (with mine) very clear..The MP3 player is cool..Good sound but limited settings..This cam can record my favorate shows from TV/DVD/VCR (It's my pocket VCR)to take with me on the road..This is a great gadget for Present and Future P.Is,,as it could be connected to a body worn mini cam for covert jobs..A nice web cam it is also..(for net gossip)Like I said ..This is an under tha radar Gem of a video Camera that produces great video with the build in Panasonic sensor inside..
