The battery wont charge
I purchased a battery for my motorola droid 2 and when I put the battery in my phone, the phone wouldn't recognize it. In the place where there is usually a symbol of the battery a "?" appears. Then when I plugged in the charger a message appeared that said " Use only motorola original equipment" and wouldn't charge it. I was gonna return it but found a battery charger that would charge it on another website. So i decided to just keep it. It kinda sucks that I can't charge it in my phone but I bought another backup battery from that same website that works just fine and charges in my phone and also less than half the price.

Don't waste your money
I bought this as a replacement for my 2 year old Droid battery (that came with the phone). It was $20.00 cheaper than the one at the wireless store and online. The 'new' battery holds the same amount of charge as the old battery - which is not even a day. It didn't save me any money because I had to go buy the new battery at the wireless store.
