At the beginning, I was slightly skeptical when I opened the box due to its heavy contain and large looking metal frame. It looked a little complicated, but as you read through the menu and compared with the picture, outside of the box, it wasn't that bad. The instruction needs to be rewritten for sure, especially the poor quality of pictures from the menu/instruction for assembling. It mounted firmly and fitted nice into the wall, where I wanted. It hold, so far, the 40" TV really well, not to mention it's a slight older and heavier TV (50 lbs). For now, I am satisfied with the purchase, especially for what the price, easy to order, and the excellent customer services with O.co.

This mount was one of the sturdiest TV mounts that I've ever worked with. It is made of heavy gauge steel and everything went together very well. I didn't have any problems with the installation at all, after hanging my 50" plasma I checked it for level and it was still perfect. The two hanger tubes are a great Idea and the locking mechanism worked very good. I highly recommend this mount! The only con I had was the mounting instructions, the print was too small to read although they gave you a web site to down load and print larger font and pics.

If your looking for TV mounts, this is the best quality mount for the price. I got this for my 60" Sharp Aquos LED TV, and this fit perfect. I am able to fully rotate and move the TV to face different parts of the room. easy to install, fast shipping
Most wall studs are 16" on center, but non-load bearing walls and some 2"x6" walls are allowed to be 24" on center. The mounting bracket that comes with this unit is only 20.5" wide and in the room where I wanted to mount the TV, the studs were 24" apart. The unit is very nice but I can't believe they did not include a wider mounting bracket. I have another cheap mounting bracket in another room that was 28" wide. If you have studs that are 16" apart, this is a 5-star unit, but for me, I either have to open the wall and add another stud or cross-braces, or I have to nail a pair of 24"-length boards (2"x4"s or 2"x6"s) between the two studs and mount the bracket to the boards. I can't believe that Siig did not include wider mounting brackets.
