SIIG's FireWire 3-Port PCI i/e is designed to instantly add three FireWire 400 (1394a) ports to your desktop computer. It features two external and one internal IEEE 1394a ports, supports data transfer rates of up to 400Mb/s, and allows you to hot-swap devices (connect and disconnect) without first turning your system off. It is the most reliable and cost-effective solution to connect your high speed demanding devices such as DV camcorders, digital cameras, portable hard disk drives, and CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives to your PC or Mac computer. With the FireWire 3-Port PCI i/e from SIIG, turning your computer into a high speed multimedia center has never been easier.

The FireWire 3-Port PCI i/e is powered by Texas Instruments chipset and is fully compliant with industry standards, including PCI Plug-n-Play 2.2, IEEE 1394-1995, 1394a-2000 and OHCI 1.1. It is also FCC Class B (DoC) & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant.
