I love this little speaker system. It is solid, attractive, has decent sound for the price and size, and protects the i-pod Nano with a plastic face, leaving only the controls exposed. I do wish it could be plugged in as well, so that the i-pod could charge while in the unit, but really I can't complain! It is perfectly portable and just right for using just about anywhere I have needed it - basement, bedroom, car, and outside.

I read several of the other reviews of this item and I have to agree: It is not the BOOM box with the big bass but the bass boost works just fine sitting on the deck / patio with the spouse. I was going to spend a lot more with "rock speakers" and wring and such but this was a much better answer. Using the G5 Ipod presents only a problem in trying to access all of the function of the controls: the bottom 1/4 is out of reach with the opening and you have to pop out the Ipod to get to it. All in all, it is a good unit for what we wanted it for.

looks great, works great...perfect for laying out at the beach or to listen to in your room...not good if you are looking for something really loud

We only biought it so my daughter could listen to her nano in her room. It works fine for that, but don't expect anything more than that.

This is a very cute little speaker system. Good for small work spaces. The sound depends on how loudly you downloaded a song onto the IPOD. My nano is black, so they look like they were made for each other. I read someone else's review and knew I had to have this.

I bought this for my mom for christmas. It works great!! Especially for the price. It doesn't have the best sound quality but for he price it is great for whenshe is outside gardening or in the kitchen cooking. The only thing that we had trouble with was that she has a 1st Generation Ipod and when we received this product it didn't come with any instructions. So when we went to put her ipod in it didn't line up at the bottem with the connector. Thought we were going to have to send it back until I flipped it over and saw the switch to make it fit a 1st Generation. Other than that we haven't had any problems with it and I would definately recommend it! Especially for the price.

I purchased this for my ipod touch it is ONLY good for IPOD NANO so I had to return it :( but the size looks great to move from any location not taking up room. I didn't open it so I cannot tell you about the sound but the footprint was perfect

i bought this because of the low price. unfortunately i didn't realize this was made specifically for the 1st & 2nd Nano generations. I have the newest 4th generation Nano. it does fit the new Nanos but the buttons don't all line up right. of course i figured this out after i had rec'vd it. since it still does play & sounds fine i decided to keep it....just doesn't look totally awesome. sound is great for getting ready on vacation, laying out, gardening outside, etc. if you are looking for something to really really jam to then this is probably not it. but overall i am happy with my purchase!

I purchased this one to put on my desk at work. I don't need much sound coming out of it and it does the job well. A co-worker has the big expensive speaker set up for her Ipod on her desk and when she saw mine and I told her what I paid- she was jealous. :) This was a great deal! Make sure you note that it runs on batteries only and doesn't charge your Ipod. It seems to have good battery life- still running on the first batteries.

These speakers have a nice little set-up where the Ipod slides right in and is very portable, but the music is hard to hear because the volume is low and the lyrics are muffled. I would recommend this if you just wanted to place it on your desk for light background music.

small, convenient, excellent price. good for the raquetball court. not good if you want loud just good for having right next to you or in a room w/ nice acoustic reverberation.
