I thought I was getting a sdat professional karaoke. It turns out it was Mixsonic. These units online were $69 and up. I have no clue who Mixsonic is as a company or SDAT. It works great with the choices for the dvd, pictures, cdg etc. The setup selections on the unit, on screen menu gets frustrating. As a microphone mix it works great! Now if I could only figure out the speaker setup I would be ecstatic. Shop around before you buy anything online or off.

I gave this to 2 of my granddaughters for Christmas and they loved it. My son-inlaw said he had no problems with the set-up and it is loaded with features. They have been singing away since they received it. I appreciate all my orders arriving on time, some within just days of ordering.

Don't hesitate myself and friends, my son and friends, have had so much fun The sound will be as great as the sound system you are going through and most tvs now have good ones If you have that as we do it will be great or you can run the lyrics through the tv screen and the music through a sound system We have a great system in our tvs and we did hooke it up to a sound system once. it worked out beautifully everywhere we went with it. it is incredibly light. Overstock sells a few dvd/cds so you can get together a decent song list right off the bat and then adding to it isnt so difficult. Put a micrphone in some people's hands and they become a whole different person even before the martinis!! enjoy great moments and oh, make sure you have the video camera ready to capture some rare footage. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the downright hilarious!!

This machine is a great value. I'm looking forward to singing my lungs out while it whisks me along with its melodies. So far, I've had no problems with it -- just fun times.

AFTER GOING THOUGH FOUR DIFFERENT UNITS THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I SHOULD HAVE PURCHASED A LONG TIME AGO. SO EASY TO USE AND SET-UP IS AS EASY A 123. IF YOU NEED TO BUY A UNIT THIS IS THE ONLY ONE YOU SHOULD LOOK AT!!!!!

this was easy to set up and use. the quality of the sound is a bit lower than expected but it is for the kids and seems to work fine.
