These speakers are awesome for the price and they look really nice as well. I bought the black and natural two toned colored ones and they in my opinion look nicer than just having black ones. Excellent sound quality...can get veeeeeerrrrry loud with little or no noise distortion. These were developed and made in Germany. Don't miss out on a great deal. I received them within a week, took them out of the box and a few minutes later i was listening to my favorite music. Highly recommended...

The CAT SDAT LEB-404 speakers are excellent. They look good (the black version) and sound great. I continue to be surprised by the surround sound effect from two speakers. I am hearing things that I never heard before from the music and television programs I listen to.

These speakers are made to match the LEB-405 speakers also sold on Overstock. Like the 405's, these are just the entry level SDAT speakers, and while they look nice, they feel a litle cheap, but the sound quality is much better than the build quality and I don't think anything in this price range can compete with the sound of thes speakers. I bought the Beech colored model and my wife loves the look of them. If you buy the 404's and the 405's then you have got a perfectly voice-matched 5.1 suround system. I used these to replace a more exspensive Sony system and am always please at how loud they can get when the movie soundtrack or musice demands it. I have never heard any distortion out of these. The driver quality is without a doubt superior to Bose. I use a subwoofer, but these do put out very warm sounding bass on their own. I seriously doubt that these produce frequencies as low as 20Hz, but very few speakers do, and they certainly cost many times more than these do. In reality, most musical bass that we hear rarely if ever go lower than 40Hz, so this isn't a problem. Besides, like I said, My subwoofer nicely fills in the extrem bottom range of any soundtrack.

I have heard many different brands in many different price ranges and these speakers sound just as good if not better than some which cost 3x as much. The speakers arrived undamaged with speaker wire in case you don't have that on hand. Attachment to my Denon AVR-787 was simple and straightforward. The speakers have a 6ohm impedance which means the receiver pushes 120watts per channel. In a room with a ceiling that ranges from 8 to 18ft in height, this setup fills the space nicely with clean undistorted sound. I would not hesitate to buy this brand again.

First off, very fast shipping Thanks Overstock. These speakers have 6" woofers so don't expect the bass like you get from some 15" woofers. I use these for the rear speakers on my surround sound. They sound every bit as good as some $300 to $400 speakers. They have great sound and the price is the very best. Get these and you won't be disappointed. Fed EX brought these in good shape NO scratches dents, etc

For the price these are excellent speakers. They were never designed to compete with Klipch or JBL and as far as sound quality they don't compare however if you're looking for something that's "good enough" especially with small children around these are very good speakers for the cost. I would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade but can't afford the big boys.

At first I wasn't sure as to what I would be getting for the really low price of these speakers. But upon arrival and I felt the weight of the box, my nerves were somewhat eased. Then when I opened the box and took the speakers out, I was very much impressed and became more impressed when I hooked the speakers up and listened to the sound. You can't go wrong with these bad boys.

These speakers arrived in a timely manner and where well packed. I was very impressed by the quality of the sound they produce and the "look". They are replacing some very old Yamaha 3 ways that had lost their looks ages ago. I have had them for over a month, now, as part of my 5.1 home theater. Nice addition.

I bought these for my dad to rep[lace the blown out Pioneer speakers I bought him in 1979... Incredible value for the money--I bought them based on all of the fine reviews I read prior to purchasing them myself so go ahead--you won't regret it!

These speakers are for backup use or for people on a budget. As such, they are a good value. They kick out decent sound at high volumes. As might be expected in a budget speaker, the bass is a little rough. Not a lot of cabinet rattle, and highs and mids seem to reproduce without a lot of strain. Construction, especially of the grills is flat out cheap. The plastic side grill snapped with minimal pressure after the first couple of days. That aside, for the reasonable price and shipping, these speakers are a decent deal.

I bought these speakers because of the consistently positive reviews and the price. They arrived within a few days and sound great. Plenty of bass (unless you are into driving around with mega woofers in your car) and the highs are good. If you are an audiophile you would probably turn up your nose at these since you only consider speakers that cost $1000 a pair. But I think I have a good sense of fidelity and these are quite good. Highly recommended!

I have a name brand of speakers.I order a pair of SDAT HI-FI FLOOR STANDING SPEAKERS.The day iI got them I hook them up to my computer because I play all my music by way of computer and man what asound come from the speakers just great sound better then the one I pay a lot of money for.I will be buy another pair of SDAT speakers again.So if you are looking for a pair of speakers with great sound and low price buy the SDAT. hey i bought these spreakers for my hubby for christmas. They are really nice I got the wooded kind. the sound is great I listen to music and movies and play games the sound is great for us. the price was really awesome! vary easy to hook up. hope this helps. Dani

I mean, I was only expecting but so much due to the cost of these speakers (you usually get what you pay for); however, these speakers changed the whole sound output of my setup. My basement now sounds like a mini movie theatre. I couldn't be happier with these speakers. I'm nowhere near audiophile specs, but for home theatre in full HD, these speakers where the perfect compliment!

I purchased these speakers months ago, and I want to say WOW......these speakers are wonderful...I love them .....they have great sound and they fit in perfectly with my current system. I will be buying another pair shortly for my bedroom.

Product arrived in great shape. Nice looking, laminated cabinets. Use these as primary speakers on RCA 100w portable stereo system. On this system sound great, overall lacks fullness but for price great buy.
