After an easy install and some nice features externally I was only slightly disappointed with this. One of the biggest problems is that every time you turn off the car it starts a cds track over. Other than that it's not too bad. Say's 300W, more likely it's 25W per ch RMS, it does sound good but distorts after 43/50 in the volume. I recommend this to anyone not running an Amp and subs, it's a great OEM replacement. For any serious Audiophiles, stick with a big name, this just won't sound great to you. Oh and a special note: The box comes with kanji newspaper from the orient as packing material. (Not a good or bad point really, just a neat addition)

This player sounds very good but the faceplate will not latch so is in a constant laid down position. To use the remote you have to lean over to get underneath the faceplate. We are trying to figure a way to keep it up but no luck yet. It does play well just looks shabby with the faceplate down

I recieved this unit last week and installed it in of all places My Boat ! It's look was not exactly as show on the picture on the web however it still looks good..The sound quality spooked me at first but I did not have the right speaker wattage .Since then, I have combine this unit with Jenson 5.25 350 watt speakers and it sounds GREAT.:) theres not a better buy for the price ,sound quality and easy to use operation..The faceplate has given me zero problems..I would recommend it to all who are interested in getting something good for good price....

I purchased two of the SDAT car audio cd -players, talk about QUALITY! I am very, very pleased with my purchase. My spouse had it installed in my car, the day after I received it. Better than I expected. I'm not mechanical so even the easiest electrical stuff is confusing to me.

You get what you pay for. Works really well... skips a little when going over bumps... but it does what it's supposed to ...play music. Cost a bit extra cuz of it's size to install, but other than that a good product.
