I've owned 1 of these USB memory card readers before. This one came looking like the other however doesn't work. I've tried it in multiple computers and with multiple memory cards. The red light doesn't even come on. I attribute this to the fact that it's a cheap reader. Nonetheless, I wouldn't recommend it as it is very cheap quality as well.

I always use this item for adding music and pictures to my phone using a micro SD card with an adapter SD card. I also use the SD card for the camera to transfer my picture to my computer. its fast and easy. two thumbs up.

This product is great. I like to upload photos as I take them, so having the memory stick avaiable allows me to do that quickly. You can you carry it in your pocket, pocketbook etc. Great price also.

My computer read the camera pictures easily with this little device. It is a keeper!

very satisfied my computer did not have memory card port

this is a piece of junk, I threw it in the trase as soon as I saw it. the plastic housing cracked as i opened it and the chip will not fit in it. don't waste your money, a quality card reader is not that expensive and trying to save a few pennies is not worth it.

As someone who remembers phones that didn't even have dials on them, and party lines, technology just keeps amazing. Flash drives and card readers are stunning, and this little item is replacing a much bigger reader. I can keep it in the bottom of the little Vera Bradley zipper case I keep my camera, 3 cards and spare battery in. Wow.

As my wife prefers to use the PC instead of our laptop, I bought this so that she can load pictures from her camera's memory card. Great price, easy to use and it worked immediately with no problems whatsoever. When momma's happy - everybody's happy.

Good idea for many laptops that need to read info stored on cards.

great idea, it doubles as a card reader if your camera uses an SD card and also can be used as a portable flash drive. good value also.

THis item works great, is easy to use . Does what it claims to do. Good bargain.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, and she loves it. I tried it out when showing her how to use it, and it worked just fine. She likes that she can easily transfer her pictures from her home computer to work. It could always have more features (i.e. miniSD), but for its purpose, it's perfect. It's compact, light weight, and works for a light-to-moderate user who wants to transfer a few files. It's a great bargain.

This is a very useful tool in the computer backpack. Some computers have built-in card readers and others do not. This solves the problem of getting files from either one of these computers to another (if the built-in card reader is for SD or MMC). The reason it got only 4 stars on features is only because I would have like to see more card types (such as microSD or MS) included. But for what is there, it performs in a most excellent manner.

Loved the price and usability of the item.Saved my files to sd card and moved them to my back up computer. My cd burner died so couldn't burn files to cd for back up. This worked out great.

Pretty happy with it. The only improvement would be a tighter cap.

Unfortunately, this reader/writer will NOT work when connected to the USB port on my Mac G4 keyboard. This is a a VERY BIG HASSLE as it means that I MUST disconnect the USB port for my printer (I have only 2 ports on my computer & one MUST be used for the keyboard) and plug in the reader. Not very convenient at all. I ended up giving the reader away to a Windows PC person.

I purchadsed this item for my husband because he has an older laptop and cannot download pictures from my camera. It works great, the only problem was it came apart right out of the package, but, a drop of super glue on each side, good as new, and works like a charm, he loves it.

This product is easy to use. The weight of it is very light.
