Roland Red Micro Cube Amplifier

I was looking for something that would amplify, and also give a good echo sound ,to my native american flute. I did some research and the Micro Cube kept coming up with very good reviews. I bought this, plus added a corded mic, and the sound is great. Lots of settings to play with for best delay, etc. This is a quality product. It's made sound, and heavy enough to set on any surface without tipping. For inside playing, I keep it plugged in, but can use batteries too. For outdoor playing this is perfect. Whether you plug in a guitar or, like me, use the mic setting and use a small clip to connect the mic to the flute, you won't be disappointed.

I was looking for a battery-operated powered amp, small enough to pack up easily, for spoken-word performance at small outdoor venues. This fits the bill. It's easy to set up and use. While I'd like a better-quality sound, it's fine for the price. It will be my backup system.

An excellent amp for a small venue with easy set up requirements. I use this for a Native American style flute with a wired microphone set-up. Having both battery and powered ability allows flexibility of where to play for an event or workshop.

This little amp rocks. I have a Marshall DSL and a Roland JC-120 and wanted something small for practice so I bought this thing. It has great sound for what it is (you won't play madison Square Garden with it) and the line out can be used for headphones or plugged into a PA. The amp models are passable and can be tweaked a bit with a simple tone and gain control. Both of my other amps are included in the amp models so I might even use it as backup for live shows. The only down side is that there is no way to switch the amp models other than the knob. A foot switch would have been nice.
