I am an amateur photographer and purchased this as my first flash. It is fine for my purposes, but you would definitely want a much nicer one for serious photography. It has been great for me so far! I've had it about 2 years.

The Canon Flash from Rokinon appear to nearly match its OEM counterpart. Its light output appears to be nearly on par with OEM, it swivels to nearly the same degree, and it is a good or bad with its battery use than OEM. It seems to be more scratch-resistant than the Canon original as well, and it's lighter. It does seem to take longer to talk to the camera, though. But that is only an issue when both the camera and the flash are being turned on; once they are both on, everything is fine. And of course considering the price this is a pretty good value.

I used this flash several times and it performed excellently. It was a snap to put on and take off. Great quality at a great price.

This is a great flash for the price. Sync perfectly with my Canon T1i. Easy to mount and use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a mid range flash at a very reasonalbe price.

The flash helps with picture quality. Has a bit of a wobble when attached to the camera. Otherwise good buy.

This flash seems to work very well. I am a little uncomfortable with the mounting to my camera...even in tightened position, the flash can be taken off with little effort. Have had no problem to present with flash falling or slipping off. Would like to see more secure mounting. Seems to be a bit slower than I would like between shots. Great step up from built in flash. Seems to be a very good product for the price!

Thisitem seems to work alright, but is very cheaply made. It feels like its going to fall apart just putting it on the camera. But, otherwise, it seems to do the job.

This is a very nice flash, unfortunately, it was not for my camera. If you have a camera this will work on, a quality made product, very nice.

Nice, smiple unit for the low price. Works exactly for what I wanted it for. My one complaint is the battery compartment lid, it is very flimsy. I will have to be careful not to pop it off the unit.

Great flash that adds a lot to my photography. For a low-end price, I get high-end results. I noticed the difference between this flash and another that I bought on overstock.com immediately, and this one is much better. I won't need to make any upgrades on my flash for quite some time now. This one is a GREAT buy.

I ordered the item and it did not work what so ever. I had a online conversation with an Overstock specialist and she sent me a new one right away. That worked wonderfully, till it randomly stopped working. When I called, Overstock wasn't going to return it for me since I was a few days past warranty. They said they would give me a 50% return if I was to send the product list. That would not do. I still gave Overstock business by later ordering a Bower Ringflash unit from them.

I am so pleased with this flash! It will bring so many more dimensions to my photography!

The flash that I purchased arrived with a defect. I contacted the manufacturer about a repair. They had me send it to them. A few days later I received a new unit in the mail. It works great. The flash is easy to use, and is a good value for the money.
