this camera is a good value and a great way to give a digital camera as a gift in this tough economy. also this is my 2nd order because the 1st choice (another Kodak Easy Share camera) was delivered faulty. it was embarrassing to have had it shipped to the recipient only to have it broken and unusable. of course that wouldn't be overstock's fault. It's taking great pictures and she couldn't be happier. She used it on her vacation as well as her office for some product tests - very happy.

Great camera for the price. Can't be beat, that's for sure. Takes pretty good pictures and video. My camera at first was also blurry, but after reading the manual and some online advise, I realized that the macro mode was enabled. After disabling, everything was much clearer. Small enough to fit in your back pocket and big enough to hold. Lots of features for the price. Highly reccomend for an entry level camera with photo and video. This is the first product I've ever needed to return to Overstock. Normally, their merchandise is high quality and reliable. But...I bought two of these cameras. I wasn't expecting anything special, I just needed two cheap digital cameras for employees' use to document progress on our construction projects. I was looking for something cheap, because every few months we lose an electronic item into a trench, on a concrete pour,etc.The first set of pictures told the truth about the camera. The pictures were distorted. Everything was sort of rounded away from the center. A straight parking stall line in one photo looked like an artistic swish. I noticed a dark blurry shape just off-center from every photo; after checking the lens, I determined it is INSIDE the lens assembly.The menu is difficult to follow. There is a pathetic dying-sounding beep the camera makes when you use the menus or take pictures, unless you disable it. The flash didn't work -- turn flash on, press the photo button, camera turns off rather than taking picture. The zoom is jerky, but you can eventually get it to move up the scale to the promised 8x zoom.New batteries didn't fix the problem. Here's something you should know about the camera: it does not have a rechargeable battery. It uses 2 AA alkaline batteries. Supplying the camera with batteries (if you choose to keep it at all) would be very expensive over the life of the device.Bottom line....don't buy. I don't care how basic or disposable you want your camera to be, this isn't worth it. I wouldn't use the camera again if it were provided to me for free.

Thiss is a good camera. I've used it a lot and no problems. I've taken lots of pictures with it and they come out great when i print them out. I recommend this camera to anyone.

I purchased this camera for my mother thinking that even if the quality is not that great, it was cheap and should be better than using her film camera. I was wrong... I would not spend 5 dollars on this camera! The quality is terrible, we tried taking pictures with it on Christmas eve inside of a living room and you could not make anyone out without being two feet away from them, even with the flash on! Don't waste your money.... save and purchase a better quality camera.

I bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old daughter. It's easy to use & she just loves it! The only downside of this camera is that it uses standard (not rechargeable) batteries, so I anticipate going through a lot of batteries - hate the wasteful aspect. I plan to buy a rechargeable battery pack for it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this little camea!

I purchased this camera for my mother, she is not the facebook, internet, texting, type of person. I saw recent reviews from other customers and felt that this camera would be a perfect christmas present for my mother. She absolutely loved it, she was able to figure everything out in no time. It is an attractive piece of equipment, and simple enough for her. She will not get on a computer, but she loves being able to take her pictures to her local store and view and select the pictures she want to purchase.

The camera seem to be fine. I have not really used but it seems ok . I just wanted an inexpensive camera to take pics of the birth of my child. I still have a few months to go so hopefully the camera does the job and not disappoint me.

I gave this camera to my grandson for Christmas, he started using it right away. Had an easy time shooting pictures and was thrilled with his gift.

Camera never came on. Not sure whether it is the battery. Going to the store to give it a try before I send it back.

Bought this camera as a gift and shouldn't have. It looks like a child's camera if you were to drop it it would shatter. Tried taking pictures of an active 8month old and all the pictures were blurry. There is about a 10 second pause before the picture actually takes. Not worth spending your money on at all. Keep looking......

A piece of plastic, non impressive look at all, terrible quality. You can get a known brand for $20 more.Definitely do not recommend!!

Pretty good little camera for the money. Very compact and light weight, but with good size LCD screen. Image quality not great but decent; much better than I get on my cell phone camera. Setting sharpness to "S Fine" helps image quality a bit. I wish the default setting for the flash was automatic instead of flash inactive, or that you could set it for automatic; you have to set the flash to on or automatic each time you turn on the camera.

this camera don't have a good quality when you take the pictures .the people runn inside the picture just put a little more money and buy something better NOT GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This camera is sub par. I've had other digital cameras. Pay a little more get a little more.

This camera is really small and light. Its about the size and weight of a pack of cigarettes. I like that it has no moving parts except the buttons and it's easy to use. My problem is that the flash defaults to "off". So every time I turn the camera on, I have to remember to turn the flash to "auto". Also, the camera is described as a 5 MP camera but says in the description that it is capable of capturing images up to 12 MP. This is somehow accomplished digitally.

This is a great little camera. Very light and easy to handle. Small and tucks right in my purse. Picture quality is great too!

Im very happy with this buy. It was a great decision for the price it is well worth it! It holds up to over 500 pictures on the memory card that it came with. Also comes with a nice little case and batteries. I love this camera the picture quality is nice and pictures can be zoomed in on and enlarged. Very fast shipping from overstock and a decent price

I've had this camera for a few weeks now and it has been pretty great. Love the fact that it takes AA batteries - very convenient. It's a quality digital camera for the price though. The included 1GB card was a great convenience, and saved me from having to purchase one separately. Takes pretty good video too. Very clear in both macro and standard mode. Couldn't be happier, thanks overstock.com!!
