Terrible Item
Don't get this item... The range is terrible, and it doesn't pick up hand held laser at all- it feels cheap, it looks cheap and it does not pick up radar or laser. And the scrambler does nothing to the cops radar detectors.

busted
Well, I bought this to drive from Illinois to Colorado for our annual ski trip, used for a couple weeks with the same positive and "questionable" false warnings (never know if I see all the radar sources, so it is hard to say if they are false. Driving west down a fairly straight fairly flat Western Illinois expressway, somewhat into the sunset, I shot past a very happy state trooper without so much as a beep. Ticketed for about 20 over in a 65. Did not even have time to send in the ticket rebate document, but I would not have been eligible due to being more than 15% over the limit. USE WITH A GRAIN OF SALT, in my mind. I will use this because I bought it, don't think I can return it, but back to my stay with the traffic method of avoiding detection...disappointing

It has saved me from getting at least 3 tickets within past few months. Highly recommended to anyone that is not so much in favor speed limits

This detector seems to work well, I drove toward a roadside radar unit with a large display detector read KA and the display on the roadside was showing random speeds below my speed of an average of 10 MPH flashing different readings at half second readings, I believe the scrambler does work, Now.
