I bought the cable because it was a really good price and was retractable. It worked for about four months and then one day, the sound from my phone would only come out of one of the speakers in my car. Then, the sound would go in and out from that speaker. If I were you, I would buy a better product than will last rather than waste your time with this cable that will only last you a few months.

For the price, this is an excellent deal. A few drawbacks are that the cord is a bit short & the sound quality on my MP3 player required the device & car radio to be turned up quite a bit, but my phone worked great with it. I hate cords, so the retractable quality is a big plus for me. Would definitley recommend & buy again. For the price, it can't be beat.

I keep mine in the car so I can listen to *my* music. Tiny, takes up almost no room and retracts easily. I do have to turn the sound up on my car system, but that might be some other adjustment that I don't know about. The sound quality is fine otherwise. Short review - it works, it cost almost nothing (got a bunch of stuff so the shipping was well worth it) and I'm satisfied!

It's perfect for me due to its ease of use and compactability. It's small enough to fit in your pocket and long enough to reach about two feet. I don't have to extend it all the way, too. It works just like some blinds; give it a quick tug and back it goes into it's protective casing where it cannot get tangled.

This handy little item allows an MP3 to play through your vehicle radio. Since it is retractable you can plug it in without having to bend or twist to get to the car jack. Plug and play with any MP3 with enough wire to see the controls on your device, then retract to keep wires out of the way for a neat apparence.

Did not work on anything. I tried it in my car that has the outlet for attaching MP3 players, on my TV, stereo at home, DVD player hooked up to stereo and nothing. Not a sound. Waste of money. Won't even send it back because it will cost what I paid for or more in shipping expenses.

I bought this item to use w/ an Ipod I haven't received yet. I used it in my car w/ my Sansa Clip 2gig- it worked. I'm glad my new car has an audio input and I don't have to deal w/ FM transmitters. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love this item! It does get stuck sometimes and expands when you try to roll it back up but I love being able to carry it with me so it doens't get ruined setting in the sun all day. It's so convenient and small.

This dandy item works like a charm; much better than the big, clunky, sprawling wire we used before. Unfortunately, it appears to be a little too attractive -- the first one we bought was stolen from our car! Nothing else, just the cable!
