I was buying this item and Reader Rabbit's Math (ages 4-6) for my grand daughter. However, when I put either of the disks in my computer neither one would bring up the game. My son who is more familiar with computers than I am said the games were too old. I have Vista on my computer -- maybe that is the problem. Also they do not come with any instructions.

This product is a great value, my son 5 and daughter 4 love it and are improving the sound blending as they read. Children should first know the ABCs and recognize them written to utilize this software. Children under 5 may need a little assistance navigating all of the features at first but they will recognize the different icons after a couple of uses. They love it they think they are playing games, when they are actually learning.
