This is a great product. And I'm not the only one who agrees with this. I purchased this charger because I travel alot and would like to charge my ipod. I usually have my laptop with be, but it can be quite cumbersome to plug in and power up my laptop to only get my ipod charged. This item came in handy when I had friend's who needed to have their ipods charged. I was on a cruise and my cousin used it several times over the week. His ipod would charge in a matter of hours (he plays his ipod constantly). He said that he never knew such a product existed! He loved it. Another friend who travels a bit for work, but doesn't use a laptop was bummed when his ipod would die when he was on a work site. He would have to wait until he returned to a place with a computer to charge up his ipod, when he found out that I had a charger that would work everywhere, he was very happy to try it out, and loved it. I think this is a MUST item for every ipod user. Don't be stuck to your computer. Isn't that the benefit of the ipod, music on the go? Take the charger which is quite light and very easy to use, with you, and you can enjoy your music wherever there's an outlet!

I can now plug my iPod in anywhere. I don't need a computer. On travel it works great. Just plug, charge and go!! Should have bought one a long time ago.

This charger does what it is supposed to, and it is cheap in price. It is light and charges ipods FAST!!

Just an FYI - This product does not work with the iPod touch. I had the same message the other reviewer mentioned. This accessory is not compatible. Low ratings only b/c I doesn't work with my iPod.

I ordered this charger for my iPhone 3G and when I plugged it in it said that it was not compatible with iPHone. The packaging says it charges iPhone, but it doesn't. Very frustrating.

Although this is advertized as compatable with both i pods and i phones, it isn't. I have an apple i phone that it will not charge. Overstock was very agreeable to me returning it. I would recommend you buy this only if you have one of the compatable i pods listed in the description.

This was bought for an ipod 3rd Generation Nano. Works great, especially when you do not have a USB port available to charge the ipod. No rating on A/V Quality cuz it's N/A....

This sounded great, says it works with all IPODs, and is inexpensive, but it does not work with the 4th Generation IPOD Nano. When plugged in, It says "charging is not supported with this device" which unfortunately defeats the purpose. Low ratings only because it does not work with my IPOD.

I purchased two of these for my iPhone 3G. When I plugged one of them into my iPhone, I got the message, "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone. Charging is not supported with this accessory.). Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed. Sent both back.

I bought this product to charge my iPhone, it does not do that. Your iPhone says "Charging is not supported by this accessory. " I have an iPhone 3G. So if you want it to charge your iPhone don't bother.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for (well, much of the time anyway). This charger is light and seems cheaply made. I found that the connection plug does not easily fit into the Ipod and at some point may cause damage to the plug-in of my Ipod as I try to insert it each time. I only assume that Apple's charger is studier and slips more easily into its player without fear of damage. I'm giving this one to my son and getting the Apple brand for myself (my Ipod cost more!)

This charger is an absolute waste of money. I was never able to charge my iPhone infact it caused me to have to restore all the settings on the phone, I'm not sure why. At this time I no longer use the charger and would definitly not reccommend it to anyone.

I bought this charger because it was cheap and i needed one, but to my surprise it is a very good quality charger and works great. Apple chargers can be 20-30 dollars so this was great.

The charger arrived quickly in excellent condition, just as expected.

IT ROCKS!!!! I would recommend to everyone who has an ipod!!!

Used this on my iPhone, worked well for a month or 2, then 1 morning my iPhone battery was dead and the phone was VERY warm. Let it cool down and tried the normal recharge cord and it worked, tried this one again and it did the same thing, drained the battery and made my phone HOT. Dont try to save a few bucks just by a real one!

Brought it on vacation to Cancun and had 3 other people in our party use it as well. They also loved it. One of them have the mini iPod and has great difficulty charging it, my charger worked!! I was the BOMB!! I referred them to Overstock.com to buy one for themself!!

This is more than bang for your bucks!! The quality is good and it takes no time to charge your ipod.

What I like about this product is...you do not have to hook your Ipod up to your computer to charge. You have an alternate measure of charging. Which comes in handy, especially when traveling.
