This is a great product. And I'm not the only one who agrees with this. I purchased this charger because I travel alot and would like to charge my ipod. I usually have my laptop with be, but it can be quite cumbersome to plug in and power up my laptop to only get my ipod charged. This item came in handy when I had friend's who needed to have their ipods charged. I was on a cruise and my cousin used it several times over the week. His ipod would charge in a matter of hours (he plays his ipod constantly). He said that he never knew such a product existed! He loved it. Another friend who travels a bit for work, but doesn't use a laptop was bummed when his ipod would die when he was on a work site. He would have to wait until he returned to a place with a computer to charge up his ipod, when he found out that I had a charger that would work everywhere, he was very happy to try it out, and loved it. I think this is a MUST item for every ipod user. Don't be stuck to your computer. Isn't that the benefit of the ipod, music on the go? Take the charger which is quite light and very easy to use, with you, and you can enjoy your music wherever there's an outlet!

I can now plug my iPod in anywhere. I don't need a computer. On travel it works great. Just plug, charge and go!! Should have bought one a long time ago.

Brought it on vacation to Cancun and had 3 other people in our party use it as well. They also loved it. One of them have the mini iPod and has great difficulty charging it, my charger worked!! I was the BOMB!! I referred them to Overstock.com to buy one for themself!!

Worked like a charm on both my iPhone and iPod. There is a red power indicator light to let you know weather the charger has juice or not. Doesn't charge as fast as my apple charger but does serve it's purpose for an excellent price.

What a good deal! I don't need my computer to charge my ipod! This thing rocks and the cost is so minimal. I'd like one for home AND one for the office. Thanks for the good product!

This product is wonderful. because I no longer have to use my computer to charge my iPod. It charges fully very fast. It is portable and you can take with you everywhere there is electricity.

Although this is advertized as compatable with both i pods and i phones, it isn't. I have an apple i phone that it will not charge. Overstock was very agreeable to me returning it. I would recommend you buy this only if you have one of the compatable i pods listed in the description.

This item did not work for charging my itouch and I am not willing to risk hooking it up to my iphone. It said on the screen of the itouch that this item was an incompatible device. I do not feel that it is worth the effort or money to send it back, but I (obviously) feel that it was a waste of money.

This product works very well for my iPod classic, but my iPhone 3G displays an error when I plug it in. It says "Charging is not supported with this accessory". So I think this is great for the iPod, but I can't suggest it for iPhone 3G (and likely 3G S).

I bought this for my husband since he uses his Ipod everywhere and needed a charger for his vehicle...He likes it very much, works great, convenient, inexpensive but good quality

As I now reread other review most are for ipods. I wanted to use this with my iphone we have a 2nd and 3rd generation iphone. It did not work on either one and my iphone displayed a warning message when I attached it to the charger. Dpo not waste your money on this for an iphone

I bought 2 for my iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs. It didn't work for either. It gave a message saying that this accessary is not for charging.

This travel charger is supposed to be compatible with all iPhones and iPods. I bought two of these to go with 4th gen nanos I was giving as gifts. Unfortunately, they do not work with either nano. I checked it with my 5th gen iPod video, and it works perfectly, though, so if that's what you want this charger for, I highly recommend. Definitely not for the nano, however.

Works great - just plug one end into your iPod the other into wall outlet and wait ( not very long ) for it is a Rapid Charger !

WARNING. it says it works for nano and it does not, at least not the new ones. Wasn't worth the effort to send it back so I gave it away

I purchased this for my Nano IPod but it did not work with it. I gave it away to someone who has a regular IPod and it worked with that. Don't purchase if you have the Nano.

I bought this little iPod charger to keep in my carry-on luggage as I travel a great deal. It is not made of the highest quality materials, but it works, takes up little space, and was cheap.

I bought the charger and took it out of the package. Once I plugged my IPOD into the charger a message came on the screen stating that this charger wasn't compatible (not those exact words). I have an Apple pod nano. Althought the charger wasn't that expensive, it was a waste of my money. I definitely wouldn't recommend this charger to anyone.

Bought this mainly so my daughter could charger her nano, but the dreaded message appeared: does not support this device. The only good thing is that it does work with my husband's Ipod classic. Very disappointed. It cannot be returned because it has been opened.
