it holds my ipod firmly in place, charges just fine but I think it could be a little smaller

Even though the item description states that it is for an iPod Shuffle, it does not work with one. It never charges the iPod Shuffle. So now it is just another item sitting in my garage gathering cobwebs.

This charger workes as described for my ipod shuffle. Its handy and easy to use just plug it to start charging.
