  I bought this device as an emergency radio for my Emergency Preparedness Kit. I like the carabiner feature which allows me to hang the radio from a strap on my backpack. Other features that came as a surprise are the thermometer, barometer, altitude, flashlight, and compass. All in all, this device is more than I bargained for and is far better than I imagined it would be.
