Great product
I installed a few cameras and pulled wire in the attic of my house. The cameras installed easily with three screws and a hole for the cable. The cable is shrouded in the mount, so it can't be cut or otherwise tampered with. The DVR came up after its power-up tests, and worked perfectly. Setting a motion zone was easy and intuitive. I'd recommend this product without reservation. Buying this from Overstock was a good experience, also. This was my first Overstock purchase, and I'll definitely buy from Overstock again. Pros: Easy to install, configure, and use. Viewable over the internet via a PC and also a smartphone (iPhone 4S used here) Cons: Some of the cables feel flimsy (video output cable, included mouse, etc.), but all have worked fine so far
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? The product is exactly as shown on the site
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? I have not installed all of the cameras yet, but the ones that I have installed all worked perfectly.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the cameras and DVR are very good. Some of the cables seem a little cheap, but all have worked perfectly so far.
