This portable speaker system provides a big sound in a small package. The PIP10 pushes 20 watts per speaker. Simply plug in your iPod or other MP3 player using the included 3.5mm cable and you're ready to listen to music anywhere. When you're done, fold it up and put it in your bag. Easily listen to your music in the dorm, the kitchen, poolside - wherever. This system uses several 1.5" magnetically shielded full-range drivers for a booming, rich sound. And this unit comes with all the accessories you need to listen to your music: three adaptors for various iPods and and a convenient carrying bag. Power on the go using four AAA batteries or use the included AC adaptor (110 and 220 V compatible.)

not worth it...
Do yourself a favor and spend $20 extra dollars to get a better system! One of the speakers broke when I took it out of the box. It was pretty cheaply made and the sound quality was not good at all, it kept cracking and there was a dull humming noise in the background.

I-pod player
Bought as Christmas gift for my daughter. She's very happy- "just what I wanted". Bass a bit weak, but perfect for listening in her bedroom or desk. Really like the travel bag, too.

this speaker system is fine. i also guessed it would charge my ipod while using it but it does not. also, the wire connecting the ipod to the speakers is easily statically. it is a good speaker set for the price.
