Save your money This is not a 2X40 watt amp, it is actually 2X8 watts. Seriously underpowered and distorts if you push it. Lousy power supply hums. I will replace this amp with a real one as soon as I can. Do not buy this amp, at 2X8 watts it is next to useless and seriously overpriced.

Excellent power This little amp was exactly what I needed to power a set of Bose jewel cube speakers. I didn't want to purchase a full receiver since all I needed to do was hook it up to a media player to stream MP3 files. The amp has worked flawlessly and I couldn't have asked for more from this little package.
