Not weatherproof!
It turns out that the grill and the fixings on this unit are made of steel and rust quickly in humid atmosphere. Even in the desert this is a problem. The screws can be replaced with non ferrous parts but the grill cannot easily be replaced

Great Outdoor Speakers
Very easy to install and great quality sound. Wish the cover was a little more opaque, but who really looks up at your ceiling anyway? Nice value for quality speakers.
