Rating should be less than 1 star. Ordered soundbar to go with new LED tv. Sound output from tv: TOSLINK optical; input to soundbar: analog. Not even coax digital. Pyle's Web site called this soundbar new for 2010!!! Analog? Could not find a workable solution at either **** or ****** No acceptable work-around or adaptation. Called Pyle's customer service - their solution: get an adapter for the analog connection for the soundbar and plug it into the tv's headphone jack!!! That was it. Ridiculous. Called Overstock to see about return - they were the greatest. Accepted the return and provided a full refund. When I told the Overstock customer service rep to advise her supervisor to change the product description to provide an alert that the soundbar's only input was analog, she said she would add that herself, even as we were speaking. The soundbar seemed outdated, technologically-speaking, especially for 2010, but Overstock surprised the heck out of me with their great service. Pyle soundbar - NO. Overstock.com - YES.

Nice to look at...very nice sound. I did notice a very slight hum when turned on but not in use. This is no biggie to me. Super simple to hook up. I have it on my computer and my HDTV. I also listen to the FM tuner. I haven't had it but a few weeks.....we will see how she holds up. the shinny black front of the unit matched nicely with the TV, as did the blue LCD light on the unit. This unit weighs 22lbs, so be sure to find the wall studs if you are hanging it. My friend has a bar that cost $350.00....I hate to tell her that I think mine sounds just as good, if not better. This unit is adaquate for my small apartment....also I rarely turn my music up high...it probably would not do for someone young who wants to blow the windows out of the house.... All in all, I really love this unit...I have never heard of Pytle before...i will probably buy any other electronics they have.

This sound bar is awesome! Our TV wasn't sounding very good when watching movies and after purchasing this item it is like being in a theatre.

This system is perfect for my bedroom. The sound is rich and full. Much like the reviews I read before my purchase, the speakers do had a feedback/hissing sound when the power is on or when played at low volumes that takes some getting used to. I would recommend this system to a friend who just wants ample music/tv sound without spending a lot. Beware, it really is 3 feet long!

Man this is pretty big and heavy for a sound bar. Sound is average...does the job and is great for my application the master bedroom. I wish they had built it with plastic instead of particle board, but not bad once mounted. Does have a slight hum when fired up without anything playing through it, but that is minor and it sounds decent for the price. Don't plan on this sounding like a home theater system, but if you trying to enhance a weak sounding TV...this is the ticket. But pay attention to the size...like I said, it is larger than you would expect.

Simple makes the new 46 inch LED TV sound GREAT!! You will need an additional cord not provided in box for your TV

The unit is really big. It doesn't fit well with many entertainment centers, and I am considering purchasing something else rather than design an entertainment center around a 100-150 dollar sound bar. Also going through the sound input settings is really slow. It gets stuck on USB everytime. (Even when there is no USB attached). I recommend getting something else that is smaller. I can only see putting this thing in the garage and hooking up something.

I bought this product for my boyfriend's birthday. He loves it and I can really notice the difference in sound! Plus there's not a million wires for the dog to chew on! It's a lot larger than I expected, but it doesn't seem to bother him much. The only downfall is that he can't figure out how to use it on different settings or with his iPod or computer. I'm not sure if this is just because he didn't read the directions (boys...) or if it has something to do with the system. Overall, a good purchase for the $$.

Well I did not even look at how big this thing is on the specs. so if you are thinking something low profile this not the sound bar for you. I bought a Boston Sound bar and sub from best buy it for $270 and it was a display got home and it did not work so i took it back got my money back and found this one. Sound is way good. as mentioned in other reviews there is a slight buzz sound but it dont bother me. For the price $120 it is well spent if you are looking for improved sound from your HDTV. Would have gave it 4 but i was expecting a tad bit more modern as far as technology and size!!! I am happy with the purchase!!

i got this sound bar because the 47 in. tv i own was makin a vibration rattling when alot of bass was played in a movie after i hooked this monster up no more vibration and the sound is amazing put it on srs and almost like a surround sound the only cons about this system was the amount of connections and the radio works great in my apt. was going to buy a bose surround but dont have the 700 bucks am verry pleasead with this speaker if u need more connections get the more expensive one it has hdmi hook ups cost almost double i am happy with this one.. good job pyle and overstock

When visiting my Uncle,he asked it I could help him. The sound quality of his 42" EXPENSIVE LCD TV was not good enough. He really did not have the space or desire for adding a whole complicated home theatre system. In my research I came across the Pyle Sound Bar... the perfect solution. I bought it for my uncle and liked it so much, I bought one for me too! Since it uses your DVD player for CD's and has a build in radio, I got rid of my "home theatre" and all the extra pieces and wires. I love it. Perfect for bedroom or smaller livingroom area. It took about 2 minutes to set up and works perfectly. A great deal.

Unit works great and ups the sound levels and quality of the TV. Do not expect a true "surround sound" experience, however.

This has great sound at a good price. I'm sure you all won't make the same mistake I did when I ordered. I neglected to look at the measurements. For some reason looking at the picture I was thinking it was pretty small, when in fact it's over 3' long and about 5" high and 5" deep. Duh. It sits on the ledge in front of our TV (which is elevated on a stand). It can be mounted on the wall, but I was trying to avoid that look in our living room (thus why I wanted a sound bar and not a whole surround sound system). Anyway, great sound, and can't wait to watch a movie that we can hear over our furnace.

(3&1/2 stars) Sound quality good, unfortunately limited connections - FM reception poor to ok at best. Set up for friend, DVD & TV sound improved over TV speakers. Value good for price.

I bought this for a smaller TV and it works well. You cannot expect the full sound of true surround sound, however, in a pinch -- and given the price -- it performed well.

Received it Dec 21, just in time for Christmas. The unit was dead out of the box the standby light would not come on. With the hope that this one was the only lemon, I choose to replace it but I will be without sound for my new HD projector till next year. I will write a review on one that works then.

Looks good, nice and compact, and sounds decent at moderate volumes. Biggest complaint: there is a noticable hiss at low volumes.

I was thrilled by the size and awesome sound quality. For this price point I couldn't find the quality at any online site or store. I was so happy as I gathered up all those unsightly speaker wires of the past. This unit is not A complete rear speaker surround. Our new home has A 35 foot ceiling in A small Living area and I was not sure how this would effect the sound. Perfect for your tall/vaulted rooms.

This Sound Bar has Awesome Sound! It has all the connections for all your electronics. Including input & outputs for your Tube T.V.'s. You can not go wrong with this unit!
