A Real Review From A Real Person The phone looks nifty, doesn't it? That is all it does. This is what it does not do... 1. The bells do not really work. They are just a decoration. When the phone rings, it sounds just like any other modern phone with an irritating electronic ring tone. This was a major disappointment. 2. The receiver is impossible to cradle on your shoulder, if you need to write a note while using that snappy little shelf. 3. The reception is not good in either direction, because of feedback from the least little background noise. However, if you receive nuisance calls, you can entertain yourself by putting the receiver down on a table top and listen to the caller shriek with pain from the feedback screech. Or, you can just let the snappy shelf drop close with a magnified BANG! 4. That little crank on the side? OK...even *I* knew that wasn't going to be functional. 5. The cord to the receiver will remind you with each phone call...how lucky you were...when you *used to* have a cordless phone. I regret purchasing this phone. The only reason I did not return it is because I had totally wrecked the packaging that came with it.
