    I bought this stand because I needed something both sturdy and portable for the community band I joined. It was fine for the first couple of rehearsals. However, last night the metal supports for the legs bent while I was trying to adjust the legs to the proper spread. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this stand, especially if you need to transport it from place to place.
