My wife purchased this stereo for my birthday and was really worried that it wasn't going to be what I wanted. After receiving the Pyle stereo and installing, I couldn't be happier with her choice. It had been some chore just to find a stereo that had CD and Cassette w/AM-FM. Although the stereo was refurbished it performed just as if it was brand new. Installation was a breeze and the sound is more than adequate for my listening needs. The removable face feature is a plus as my truck doesn't lock well. I would recommend this product to any other old schooler's that still have a lot of music on cassette tapes.
I was so excited to get this in my car 6 months ago. I wanted to listen to CDs and my XM radio, which I use with a cassette adapter. From day 1 things did not work well. I couldn't get the volume to adjust and couldn't get the radio stations I wanted. I am very disappointed. I don't uderstand because the other reviewers said they liked this model. Oh well. I only know that my use of this product after 6 months, a product that I use every day going back and forth to work, was very disappointing. I wish that I had spent more and gotten a better player, after spending money on the cost of installation......

Installation of this radio in my Mercedes was a breeze. The sound quality is very good . The buttons are lit up at night so they are easily read. The only feature that it doesn't have that I wouldn't mind having is a MP3 port.
