This is a great mount. I have bought it before but was robbed so I had to re-purchase. GREAT product for the value....especially when most mounts are over $100!
The mount seems like it would be a good mount IF it fits your tv. The problem with this unit is that the back plate that goes on the wall is not wide enough to hold the Panasonic 42 inch plasma. Measure the spread of your mounting holes on the back of the tv. If they span more than 25 inches, this mount will not work for you.
This product is a good buy; I would definitely buy it again. My TV is definitely staying on the wall! I thought it was kind of hard to put together though. It took 4 of us to figure out the directions and 2 men to hang it!
