  • Didn't think it'd be that great

Bought this not thinking it'd be spectacular, just wanted something to show media to friends quickly. This thing is way more powerful than I had expected, and is capable of a lot considering how small and cheap it is. HDMI is super handy to have, and it's pretty bright. Overall I would suggest it to my friends anyday.

    VERIFIED PURCHASE

I had high hopes for this projector since it came with such great reviews, and I rarely review a product myself unless I'm so frustrated that I have to. This is one of those times. First of all this projector has overheated several times. It is propped up with adequate ventilation, but the heat this thing has generated is insane. On the very first day of professional use, it overheated. Needless to say that is embarrassing and just not acceptable. The other problem that has continued is the remote. First of all, it doesn't work to advance slides. So I called Infocus, who told me I needed a USB cord, but they were unable to tell me which kind of a mini USB I needed. Idiots. Finally figured it out myself. But then the remote still didn't work. Turns out you need to "enable" the remote in the advanced menu (again the idiots at Infocus had no idea what to do, and I figured this out on my own), each and every time you power it. That's right, you can't just turn on the projecto...

  • Gives a Good Image Quality

The main concern I had buying this was brightness, I had never used a pico projector before, I didn't even really know what one was. Turns out to be a pretty powerful unit, and it has enough power and inputs to be used everyday, it works well in every environment I've tried it with, and doesn't disappoint even in harsher lighting conditions. HDMI and VGA are the two inputs I use most often, they're the most common outputs you see on devices these days.

  • Excellent Pocket Projector

I bought this on impulse originally, not thinking I'd use it much, but in reality I end up using it almost everyday! This little thing is so tiny I don't even notice it when I carry it around. It's light enough to fit into my bag, and doesn't take up a lot of room at all. It's bright enough for my use, which is fairly simple media sharing, but obviously if you're going to present in front of 20 people, you might need something brighter.

  • A Product Like this is Hard to Come By

I wasn't expecting a whole lot when I bought this, I was simply going to use it once in a while to play a few videos, since I've owned it I started using it a lot more than I thought I would. The size is excellent, and it fits into my bag quite easily and doesn't add much weight at all. For the money I got it for I would say that this is an excellent purchase that is well worth the money. It has all the features I want (playing media off usb, hdmi, vga, etc) and is plenty powerful for my needs.
