This is a reasonable printer for those who only do light printing jobs. I bought this printer about a year ago, mainly for school. However, recently, I have decided to upgrade because my printing has become more complex (I need a printer that can print color quickly). If you are planning on printing alot of pics, I don't recommend it. On several occassions, it stopped the printing halfway through and the paper just gets stuck and sits there halfway through the machine. I have really only noticed this though with full color pages. The phone is a descent feature, but you can't tell if the phone is ringing for a call or a fax (other machines have different rings). Have had to clean the glass plate for the scanner plenty of times. Isn't difficult to clean, but its upsetting when scanned pictured come out streaked. When I purchased it last year, it was more than twice it is now, so its not too bad of a deal. Black/ white copies are pretty quick. Color copies are quite slow, but the quality is okay. Also, when I scan/fax multiple images and email them or save them, it only saves/sends the first document, so you have to scan/fax one at a time. Wonder if others have this problem. Again, its a reasonable deal for the money. But you get what you pay for.

The all in one is easy to set up and use. I installed it while my 3 year old son was wanting my attention and playing with me . . . and it still installed properly.

I haven't used the scanning feature yet -- it's used mainly as a fax and copier. No complaints at all with how it performs. It's fast, quiet, easy to operate, and unlike my old fax machine, it has an ON/OFF switch which is nice. I hate keeping appliances, office equipment on when not in use. It also has a feature which enables you to choose color or b/w -- this may be on all scanners however, since this is my first, I'm not sure. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

To be honest, when I ordered it I really wasn't expecting much, however after using the printer for over 2 weeks now I am very impressed. Something really neat, is that it turns documents into .pdf and other formats when you scan them in. I never had a scanner do that before. (I guess because I never had a scanner before) Anyway, everything from the copier/printer/scanner/fax, comes out nice and of good quality for the price. If you need a machine that can do it all and not cost a forture, this is the one!!!!!Thanks Overstock!
