I got these to use with my Satellite receiver in my room, mainly because of a recommendation from a technician that came to our house to work on our Satellite. So, I plugged them up, and they were a perfect fit. It's just when I turn on my receiver. It says it's 720 P, which is not 100% High Definition. So, that was really the only let down.

It is not yet clear to me why one would pay an outrageous price for what is essentially a wire. Maybe as a Senior Citizen I'm too old to see the difference. I do know that the one top-rated HDMI cable that I paid a small fortune for is no longer in use - it literally came apart! I replaced it with a cable from Overstock.com and was dumb-struck when I realized that for me there was no difference - except the price. Do yourself a favor: try one of these cables before you spend a half-day's wages trying to impress someone with a name brand gold cable. More's the pity if you can see a difference; it is going to cost you - big time.

I got the 3 foot cable to save money. It works for me because my cable box is very close to the tv. I didn't realize that the hdmi connection on my tv was at the top right so it barely reaches. You might want to go with a 6 foot cable to be safe.

After researching what kind of HDMI cable to buy for our new LCD TVs, I found out that the cheap ones are just as good as the expensive ones. Needed a short cord in our kitchen, so this 3 foot size was just right. Received very quickly.

I did not measure the distance between my surround sound system and the 46" LCD panel, so this one was too short. Would recommend if you KNOW that 3' will work.purchase this cable otherwise purchase longer ones. I sent back the 3' cables and replaced them with 6' cables. Overstock.com instant chat person was very helpful in making this happen without a hitch.

This cable made a HUGE difference in my Dish HD receiver and my HD TV. I could not believe that one little cable could do so much (and got rid of all of the bulky cables). Buy this cable without any worries!
