My old handsfree set was sounding echoey to everyone I was talking to, and I don't like putting my cell phone up to my face, so I thought this looked like a good idea. This handset has excellent sound quality, and is more comfortable to hold than a cell phone. It is lightweight and the standard size of old phone handsets. It is better for my face and for my phone screen not to have it pressed up against my head. It is also nice to cut down on any possible radiation/whatever from the phone. It's not hands free, but you can always hold it on your shoulder and put your phone in your pocket if you need to do something. The handset has a volume button on the side, and has a nice matte finish, so it doesn't get spotty or feel greasy (like it would with a shiny glossy finish). It is also fun and looks and feels very nostalgic. My only complaint is that there should be a little more room for your ear at the speaker end, but that's only a problem if you are talking on the phone for a very long timeÂ… maybe that can be seen as a plus because it reminds you to get off the phone and go get something else accomplished. I'd recommend this product to anyone that wants a better option than putting your cell phone up to your face/head all the time.
