i very pleased with the product. it is essentially a plug and play device. straight from the box straight to thumping the sounds. and i had a generally pleasant experience with overstock.com.will use overstock again and will recommend the woofer to my friends

Very happy with this subwoofer, I just need a little bass in my garage ,to add to the little speeker I aready had. I would recommend this subwoofer!

Only problem I had is my receiver required a single RCA male plug and the cord that came w/ it was a double RCA!! Like the size, and the price.

I was looking for a sub-woofer to fill out the audio from my Vizio flat screen, which produces good high and mid-frequency sound but lacks low end response. The room it's in is a small, confined space so a home theater would have been overkill. This unit is an excellent choice because of 1) the twin connector audio jack connection, 2) the adjustable volume and frequency controls and 3) the comparatively low price. My volume is turned almost all the way down, yet provides the thump and bass instrument audio that was missing. One minor item: when the audio from the Vizio is turned very low there is some bleed through the sub. Not much of a problem. I purchased the extended warranty -- just in case the thing produces a puff of blue smoke within the next two years.
