Memorex 5-inch Portable TV/ Radio

This television is horrible...there is so much static you cannot even hear what's being said. It makes a "UNKNOWN" sound when the TV is on and the volume is turned off. The picture goes from big to little...it's just a mess! I wanted to return the TV to Overstock, buy why waste even more money with Overstock's "re-stocking" fee they charge even if the merchandise is JUNK!

The price was great and it works perfectly. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Well-made product, good picture, good reception. I'm happy. However, a couple of caveats: First, the Web site's description forgets to mention that this TV won't work after the nation switches to HDTV in February 2009. Second, it hurts to have paid double the amount shown on the box's clearance price sticker!

I bought this TV, thinking that it was inexpensive enough that I could use it on my desk until Digital TV becomes the norm in America. It is completely useless. It never tuned properly, I could not get the vertical nor horizontal hold to work and then, today, after about 5 days of TRYING to get it to work, it completely conked out. It is a waste of money, and should not be sold. As other reviewers have mentioned, the radio does work, but the television failed absolutely. I should have known: You get what you pay for.....
