Mine did come with a batter - too bad it was the wrong one. The dvd player is pink and the battery is silver and doesn't fit the player at all. I wouldn't care much about the color if it fit. I am going to try to return it for another battery, but I'm not willing to ship the whole thing back over it. Not sure if the remote works or not either because it didn't come with a coin battery like they usually do. That is silver too - instead of pink. It does say that it's refurbished & it was a good price though.... As for the player itself, it's great. Picture is very clear, sound is great, not a scratch on it. It's got easy to use controls and has all the plugs for all you might need - car, regular electric etc. I would say it's a good buy.

This product did not come with a battery. A portable DVD player is not truly portable if it does not have a battery. I returned this product because there was no battery included, but the return process was simple and easy.

This didn't come with with the battery pack so it isn't portable. I can only use it plugged into something. I usually use it on bus trips and airlines. The good news is it came promptly.
