Great product especially for the price!
We took this camera housing with us to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. No water got it, the camera fit snuggly and we were able to get some great pictures while snorkeling, sailing and climbing a waterfall! Its a good design to keep it secure and waterproof. Another nice feature is that it floats and is easy to spot. We put a wii wrist strap on it which made it easy to carry.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes the product was free from defects.

Haven't field tested, but looks promising
I have not tested this case in the "field," but it seems as if it will be water tight. I highly recommend that you practice with it well in advance of using it for the first time as there are small little flanges on the case that must be alligned correctly. Also, the case is a bit hard to get on and off without a little practice. So, practice before you need it for real or you may frustrated/cranky on your vacation/at the pool. Overall, I get to use my better camera underwater instead of buying a cheap digital or disposable camera for the same purpose.
