This little gem is terrific! Its swivel screen gives me mobility in placement of the device for viewing. The audio is wonderful through the head set. Sometimes the picture is too dark. I think this is a function of the disc quality because most of them have great video clarity.

I was disappointed it didn't hae the battery on the back that it stays charged up so you can use without having to be plugged in to something. I have tried to find a battery pack to purchase for it and have not had any luck. It does work well and has good picture though.

This a a cheaply made product that does not include a battery. It cannot be called a portable DVD player if it needs to be plugged in. The cord isn't very long so it has to practically be in your lap for viewing. When I called Overstock, the Chat person told me to goggle to get a battery--she did give me the product number. Of course, the battery cost is almost comparable to a good cheap DVD player complete with battery. It was a ridiculous suggestion. If I was going to spend almost $200 on a DVD player it would be a solid machine that includes a battery.

make sure you realize "battery not included" I know it says this but I missed this. I'm really not sure why anyone would buy this without a battery considering they are almost impossible to buy by themselves and if you do the price is hardly worth it considering you could buy a brand new portable DVD player for just a little bit more including the battery

I purpose this product for my wife. The product is used mostly at work. I have not used this product on a traveling trip yet. She is very happy with this purchase. When she is happy, that mean I am happy. This is an excellent choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this DVD Player for my mom for mother's day last year and it is totally amazing. You can also plug it into your TV system and get the image on big screen. Great gift for great price.

This item doesn't include a battery. Make sure you realize this before you make your purchase. I purchased one for my daughter identical except color that came with a battery for almost the same price. This one is identical except color with NO battery. I'm am still trying to get a battery for this item with no luck. Polaroid will not answer my e-mails and when I called them they were supposed to send me an e-mail with instructions on how to securely pay for the battery, but I'm still waiting 2 weeks later. How is a PORTABLE dvd player supposed to be portable without a battery. What a pain trying to get everything I need to properly use this item. My son was very disappointed on his birthday.

This is the second Polaroid DVD player that I have purchased. My four year old granddaughter liked the first one so much it is now hers. She loves using it in the car or any room in the house. Ease of operation is a plus. I purchased another for me. Every thing about this player is nice. We really like the ability to swivel the screen so others in the car or home can see the movies.I certainly would recommend this product to family and friends. As usual, the price was reasonable.

I bought this for my 2 yr old to use on a very long car ride. I had looked every where for a carrying case like this one and had no luck. I am SO HAPPY I bought this. It's a great product and I have had no problems with it at all!!! Would recommend it to everyone

Sound and video quality are fine. I think the set should definitely come with 2 headphone sets, instead of just one. The case is almost impossible to figure out how to put on, if you want to hang it from the back of the headrest, and it would be nice if there was a way to secure it to the front console by support straps. It's not great, just adequate.

I read in the Good Housekeeping the rave reviews for this particular DVD player and then I had a hard time finding one so I came to Overstock.com and found it right away. I love the player. It's a nice size and very easy to operate - plus it had lots of extras with it. I would like to order the battery charger so I could operate it without plugging it in. i use it inside the house and not in the car. It is so handy. Thank you again., Sincerely, Liz

Not sure why this product has received poor reviews, I don't have one complaint. The picture and sound quality is great! and i love that it comes with the car case and adapter, I also love that the kids cannot touch the buttons, we had the dual audiovox dvd players and they broke within the first few months because my kids kept opening and closing it and being rough as kids do and of course one piece broke which made it useless so i decided to purchase one dvd player for the kids and i absolutely love that they do not have access to the buttons. This is a great bargain for a quality product.

for the purpose in which I purchased the item, it is more than sufficient. I purchased for my 6-yr old grandson so he could take with him anywhere (his room, the car, a friend's house, etc) without worry of using (and/or breaking) someone's device.

I gave this as a gift to my brother's kids. They like it and drag it whenever they go out, specially my 5 yrrs. old niece loves to carry it.

I bought this for my daughter for when she goes on long trips in the car. It is a real winner great audio/video quality going over bumps did not effect the DVD at all. I couldn't be happier with the product or with the way Overstock.com made the entire process from the ordering to shipping if I needed anything the customer service agents went out of there way to make sure that every need I had was met.
