Polaroid Carbon Fiber Tripod
Excellent product. Equal to the FAR more expensive brands and better in terms of price. Light in weight, yet holds heavy D300 w/ battery grip and large lens easily. I'm over 6' tall and the tripod opens tall enough that I don't have to bend over to look through the camera viewfinder. The ballhead is rock solid and locks into place with no slippage. Once again, excellent product. I definitely recommend the product.

Solid tripod
For the money, this is a solidly-built, stable, and smooth operating tripod. It is also tall enough for me (I am just under 6' tall) to use comfortably. As I've used it, I've found only one flaw - the screws at the top of the tripod legs were not nicely finished and had some razor-sharp pieces of rough metal that gave me a cut finger. I put tape over the screws so I could continue using the tripod that day without incident, but I'll need to use a filing tool to smooth those sharp bits for safety's sake! So the finishing of the product could be just a tad better. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.
