I received the first one and the DVD player stopped working completely after 30 minutes. The second one arrived and after watching it for about 15 minutes it started to skip so I gave up on the TV. The price is good and the TV worked (poor picture), but the DVD player appears to be defective in all of them.

This was a great buy. I was very pleased with the quality and style of the television.

The good point is the size and clarity of the picture. The poor points are the audio for the DVD player and the remote. The audio for the TV works fine, although the speakers are a bit "tinney"; however, the audio for the DVD player is basically worthless. At full volume, it can hardly be heard. The remote went through 3 battery changes in the first 3 days. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't. I have been very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered this flat screen for my bedroom to replace an old 19inch tv. It has a great picture and is a really nice flat screen for the cost. My only complaint is it is a little bit too small for the area in my room. I think it being a flat screen it is half the size of the older model that was hanging on the wall. I should have upgraded to a bigger screen size to fill the space. Overall the TV is really a nice purchase and works great. It did arrive in a box that was open and looked pretty ratty but was okay.

This is the second refurbished Poloroid TV. The first for me and the second for our grandson (age 15). He loves all the bells and whistles on the set and is extremely pleased with it. Overstocked.com is a real favorite of mine and I will continue to use it and refer everyone I know who is looking for quality products at REALLY great prices!!!

I was hesitant to buy a refurbished item so I purchased the Platinum Protection Plan and am very glad I did. The volume did not function correctly from the day this item arrived - I had to turn it way up into the 30's if I played a DVD to hear it. This didn't seem like a major issue so I just let that go, however, a little over a year after I purchased the TV the DVD/CD quit working altogether. Discs started to get stuck or would just spin and not play. Luckily I bought the protection plan. I have called to file a claim and will have to see if my money is refunded as they say it will be. More later...

This stopped working within the first month. My gut feeling is that as it is refurbished nothing was done to fix it when it was returned to the factory. I had a similar experience with a refurbushed iPod. It just isn't worth taking a chance on a refurbished product as factories do not seem interested in fixing whatever is wrong.

Good deal. Bought this TV for my 3 year old son's room.

This television with DVD looked new on arrival despite its refurbished status. It has worked well with the simple antenna setup for broadcast television. The picture is quite good and the 720p/1080i is indistigjuishable from 1080p in a screensize less than 32 inches. Connecting it up to computer and stereo are more challenging but doable. It did require purchase of other cords, etc. as it comes with only simple audio stereo and video (yellow type) RCA type cord set. The audio output must rely on the headphone jack for analog sound to the standard stereo receiver or else you would have to purchase a digital to analog converter for about xxxx to make use of the digital coax output of the television. Overall, this is a good television with a good enough tuner, simple to learn to operate for most purposes, and the DVD player that is built in is a good match to the small screen television.

great little tv. bought it for my son to watch his dvd's, play his videogames, and he loves it. the bonus is all the channels we were able to pick up including a few hd channels. as someone mentioned in a previous review the box it came in was in pretty bad shape but the tv itself was in perfect condition.i've had it about 3 weeks and so far so good.

We purchased this for our teenage daughter for Christmas. The package arrived and was banged up pretty good - we were very apprehensive about opening the box - but it was in mint condition, all the parts were there.We had NO trouble hooking it up to our dish network, and the remote was easily programmed.The picture quality is very good. We had NO idea Polaroid even made TV's.I would definitely recommend to a friend.

We bought this for my husband's Aunt who is in Florida. She wanted a small portable DVD player for her bedroom where she could relax after a long hard day at work. She has acute osteoporosis and needs to lay down after work for a while. When my husband saw this for her, he knew that it was perfect for what she wanted. It was much better than a 7" screen she would get on a portable player. I personally can not rate this HDTV/DVD player as I have not seen it work myself, but I can tell you that Aunt L. is very happy with it. She says that it is very easy to use, and the quality is great. As far as the value goes, I think we got what we paid for. I would recommend this product. To be fair the Stars given to this product are based on what Aunt L. told us.

We've been using the Polaroid TV/DVD combo for a couple days now. It seems like a very good TV. It was easy to set up, the sound is good, and the picture is also good. I like the outward appearance of the unit as well. The case is black and the frame around the screen is a shiny black.At this point, the only slightly negative thing to say is that the stand that comes with it is a little wiggly. But, I am not concerned that it will fall over or anything like that.

Product in mint condition. Very easy to setup and use. Picture is very good. Much better on the HD channels. And price was right on this one!! I highly recommend this product.

This is the perfect size flat screen for the masterbed room. It's not overwhelming and has a great HD picture. Reburished product...good as new! Great price.

I purchased this TV/DVD combo for my son's room. The picture is great. The DVD player is loud and it was hard to program the remote. To figure out how to get the DVD player to work was also a pain but now that we know what we have to do then its fine. All in all, its a great deal for the price.

Was exactly as described - now that I have it I wish I would have bought 22 or 24 in. Operates fine..No complaints...DEfinately wirth the money...

I bought this as a birthday/Christmas present for my granddaughter. Her room is not very big so this seems to fit the space. No problems.

Great HDTV/DVD combo...worth every penny and the picture on this set is "great"! Good buy and very fast service getting it here.
