I'm not a real camera techie so I can't speak to that but it's a nice camera that takes pretty great pic. The zoom is amazing. I recently took this camera on a trip and from the 8th floor roof deck of the hotel I could zoom in on specific player in a tournament across the street in a large parking lot. I got some pretty amazing face shots. (you can practically see the pores in their skin. The one thing about it the drove me crazy until I replace it was the strap. It's flimsy, and there's no way to make it hug your wrist. In the past there was a piece that would slide to tighten around your wrist. With what they give you, if you dropped it, it would easily fall off your hand. Come on Canon, why cheap out on the strap? Another thing that would be nice is if there were more instructions on what all the functions are. Unless you already know, there's no telling what all this is.

I am extremely pleased with this purchase from! I once was a fairly good 35mm film photographer, but I've only owned a couple of digital cameras... point-and-shoot type. This Fuji camera's quality is amazing. I play in a band, and we needed a camera to do some quality digital promo photos with. We are not disappointed! It can be easily used on automatic, or you have the option to use a number of other exposure settings. The fact that it can recognize up to 10 faces in a photo and compensate for exposure and focus on each of them is super. And the video (movie) quality is quite good too. I especially like the fact that it compensates for arbitrary hand movements to keep focus clean and clear, since my hands are not as steady as they once were, due to MS. Overstock include everything you need to use this camera out of the box, from an SD card and card reader to a set of rechargeable batteries (and a set of regular ones too). And the price is amazing for all of thi...

My orange Aqua is wonderful, and I especially love the two screens. I have simple photography needs, so it suits me. I have a little trouble with the "buttons" because I have RA , but that is MY problem NOT the camera's. Instructions are very easy for a novice to understand. I can find my camera anywhere even in my purse due to its bright color. Great buy!!

In the ad this camera said it came with batteries and I took for granted it came with memory card and it had neither.
