I was very surprised when I found that this camera took videos as well. That excitement didn't last long when I found that it didn't record audio for the video. The instructions could have been clearer. Despite these issues, the camera is excellent. Buy one!

I am extremely pleased with this purchase from! I once was a fairly good 35mm film photographer, but I've only owned a couple of digital cameras... point-and-shoot type. This Fuji camera's quality is amazing. I play in a band, and we needed a camera to do some quality digital promo photos with. We are not disappointed! It can be easily used on automatic, or you have the option to use a number of other exposure settings. The fact that it can recognize up to 10 faces in a photo and compensate for exposure and focus on each of them is super. And the video (movie) quality is quite good too. I especially like the fact that it compensates for arbitrary hand movements to keep focus clean and clear, since my hands are not as steady as they once were, due to MS. Haven't used camera much yet but so far it looks like it will do the kind of things I want to do. Like inside pics and long distance. I live on Lake Ontario and have a beautiful lighthouse to photograph.

Relatively inexpensive camera to be waterproof. Picture quality fine for price of camera - Except there must be dirt in my lens because every photo has the same dark spots in the pricture, despite my cleaning of the outer lens. Because I'm not using this camera to take family photo's and dark spost are not too big I've found the defect acceptable. For the price I'd say this camera is a decent purchase. Haven't tested it in the water and don't plan too. But I take it as a traveling to keep in pocket hoping its more durable. Having tried the camera, If there was another manufacturer selling a waterproof camera for a little more money, I'd try it over a second one of these although I'm not dissapointed in this one.

This camera is perfect for my needs. I tend to do alot of research before I purchase anything and have owned an Olypus before. I didn't think I afford the same brand at this point in my finances, but I was wrong. I am very pleased with this purchase.
