The inclusion of "Book Pavillion" software to scan multiple pages into a single PDF adds simplicity and speed to the process and automates certain functions such as delimiting the scan area to the book page size automatically, allowing for color, gray scale, and black and white scans on the fly, and making provision for rotating pages to a common orientation before generating the final PDF. The software can even automatically rotate odd or even scans to produce a uniform orientation without user intervention. The result is that scan jobs are done quickly and yield a final document the quality of which can only be considered exceptional.
