My mother bought this unit for her car. When I attempted to use it I was stunned. I almost need to stop the car and get up close to the unit to read the lettering. Although it is a capable system, it was in no way designed so that it would be easy for a first time user to operate. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but I found this unit to be very frustrating. I now make it a point to not borrow my mom¿s car just so I don¿t have to use this stereo system. Although pioneer makes some good products, whoever designed the user interface on this product botched it big time. My advice, buy another unit with larger buttons, legible lettering, and easy to understand instructions.
