I despise the color red, but couldn't pass up on how inexpensive the amp was. When I received it, the first thing I noticed was that it was not red, it was blue and silver (whew). The sound that this amp puts out is incredible. It's everything I was hoping it would be. This would be a great gift or use it for yourself. I liked this amp so much, I ordered another one and am giving it to a friend as a gift. Don't pass this one up, it's amazing!

I ordered a Phoenix 1000w bridgeable amplier for my son as a Christmas present. The shipping time was excellent on the item and I received it well in time for Christmas. After my son had it installed in his truck, he was very happy with it and said it helped his new stereo sound "amazing". Those were his words. And it wasn't even using all of the power that the amp had available. I, myself,no nothing about electronics, but my my 18 year old who is very into that type of stuff was very happy with the Phoenix amplifier and said he'd want another one to "bridge" to his current one when he is ready to do that. This was my first time ordering from Overstock.com, but it will not be my last.

If you don't have too much money to drop on a system (like me), this is a pretty good deal for the price. Two channels are pushing my 6x9's and one channel is pushing my twelve. It has some bump. Unfortunately, mine is not blue but red. Overstock lists the name as Phoenix. Its a Phonics Digital amp. Never heard of them but I'm impressed.
