The unit is easy to operate but I could not get rid of the noise it added to my phone line. I wanted to use it for faxing but could not send a single fax due to the added noise. I've spend time making sure there are no surge protectors or other devices around it but it still did not work for me. I'll probably return it.
I bought this product believing I could use it for a DSL phone line. No where did it say it would not work with DSL, I contacted Philips and was told it would not work. I do not have the original packaging or box so I guess I'm stuck with it until I find someone who needs this jack.
